Grainger is hiring for Branch Sales Associate, Bilingual

As a Branch Sales Associate at Grainger, you will be the primary point of contact for walk-in customers, utilizing your expertise and a positive attitude to deliver exceptional service. You will maximize sales opportunities, foster customer loyalty, and ensure a seamless experience from product selection to order fulfillment. This role involves both customer-facing duties and various warehouse tasks, including inventory management and merchandising. You will report directly to the Branch Manager. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience Management: • Provide solutions to walk-in customers by assisting with product selection and accurate order entry. • Safely pick products and load customer vehicles, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. • Adapt communication style to effectively interact with customers via email, phone, or in-person.

Sales and Loyalty: • Identify and maximize sales opportunities while building strong customer relationships. • Encourage repeat business and customer loyalty through excellent service.

Warehouse and Inventory Tasks: • Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products. • Manage customer backorders and organize received stock. • Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment to maintain product availability. • Perform regular inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.

Operational Duties: • Learn and operate various computer systems for customer service and warehouse management. • Conduct housekeeping tasks to maintain the branch's appearance according to Grainger standards. • Follow safety guidelines and comply with all process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment. Qualifications:

Experience: • Prior experience in a sales or customer service role preferred. • Experience operating powered industrial equipment is beneficial.

Skills: • Bilingual in English and another language (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base. • Strong ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and handle heavier loads with assistance. • Flexibility to work during branch hours and adapt to varying tasks.

Education: • High School diploma or equivalent.
