Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive data analyses to pinpoint critical patient cohorts, reveal trends, and assess the effectiveness and value of healthcare programs for members and customers. Create impactful visualizations that effectively communicate program outcomes and return on investment (ROI) to both current and prospective clients. Collaborate closely with customer data teams to guarantee seamless data ingestion and precise ROI calculations. Design and validate data transformation processes, converting client data formats to standardized reporting and analysis formats. Offer internal data analysis assistance to product and operations teams. Contribute to the development of quarterly business review (QBR) reports. Lead customer-focused data discussions, articulating complex analyses in a clear and engaging manner. Take initiative in cross-functional data analysis and improvement projects. Partner with data analysis and engineering teams to recommend enhancements to infrastructure and operational practices.
Required Skills A minimum of 5 years of experience with healthcare data, including claims, patient, and health-related datasets. At least 5 years of expertise in healthcare data analysis or healthcare data engineering. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and shell scripting for automation, analysis, and ETL processes. Experience with dbt tools and maintaining dbt code. Deep understanding of database schemas and data dictionaries. Familiarity with data warehouse technologies such as Redshift, BigQuery, or equivalent. Exceptional communication abilities for both internal collaborations and external client presentations. Ability to work independently while also thriving as a collaborative team member. Strong comprehension of business processes, ROI assessment, cost analysis, and financial modeling. Familiarity with healthcare quality measures (e.g., HEDIS, Stars).
