As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be assisting customers via phone, email, and chat, helping them navigate their tax filing process, answering questions about our services, and providing general support. Key Responsibilities: Provide courteous and efficient customer support thru phone (inbound call) during the busy tax season. Answer questions regarding tax filing, products, services, and account information. Assist customers in troubleshooting issues related to their tax filings or software. Document and track customer interactions and issues in our support system. Meet performance targets related to customer satisfaction, response time, and first-call resolution. Maintain a positive and professional attitude even during high-demand periods.
Qualifications: Reliability is the #1 priority: You must be dependable and consistent, especially during high-demand periods leading up to and after Tax Day. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Comfortable working independently in a remote work environment. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Ability to stay calm and collected when dealing with customers who may be experiencing stress. Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required. Must be able to commit to working during the tax season peak periods (February through April).
We're looking for independent contractors with the following attributes: Self-managed (Regularly check knowledge-based resources to know updates and improve product mastery. Can learn by themselves. Committed (Can deliver the required number of hours on a daily basis as committed.) Communication and Interpersonal Skills(Can build a professional relationship with my mentor and peers. Can share any observations, best practices, or issues experienced.
Benefits & Perks: Hourly Pay: $17 - $19 per hour, up to $22/hr based on experience and weekly performance.
