Remote Data Entry Clerk (Hybrid) - WFH (Typist)
Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a meticulous and well-organized Data Entry Clerk to join our Cotton Seed Supply division. This hybrid position entails working remotely, with the requirement to be on-site in Lubbock, TX, for one day each week (flexible scheduling options available). In this role, you will provide essential support to the Cotton Planning Team by managing data inputs, overseeing inventory records, and executing administrative tasks that are vital for streamlined seed supply operations.
Key Responsibilities Accurately input and maintain data in digital formats, including spreadsheets and databases. Verify and rectify data discrepancies as necessary. Keep inventory records current in SAP and other relevant systems. Review Bills of Lading to ensure the receipt of necessary samples. Confirm that correct tests are conducted and standards are upheld. Collaborate with production managers to authorize the shipment of approved batches. Manage material extension requests and address issues related to BOMs, recipes, and quality inspection plans. Collaborate with finance teams to assure accurate costing information. Extract data from SAP and generate reports utilizing tools such as Power BI. Create visual data representations, including charts and KPIs, to inform decision-making. Provide administrative and operational support to the Seed Supply Team as required.
Required Skills 1-3 years of relevant experience (training will be provided). High school diploma or GED (verification required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
